Dmitry Medvedev Plans to Chair Anti-Corruption Council Meeting and Approve Anti-Corruption Strategy Immediately After That

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev plans to chair a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Council shortly and approve the National Anti-Corruption Strategy immediately after that. The president made the announcement at a meeting of the Board of the Prosecutor's General Office.
“I will soon chair a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Council where the National Anti-Corruption Strategy will be considered,” Medvedev said. “It [the strategy] should include all of the main policy guidelines in this field and the updated National Anti-Corruption Plan for 2010-2011. Their drafts are being worked on, and I plan to approve them by a decree after the discussion in the Council.”
